Q4 and 2002 Performance by Market Segment
| |
All hotel segments demonstrated positive growth in Q4-2002 in both room nights
and ADR.
Results for the full year 2002 are shown in the right hand chart. In the Luxury and Upscale segments, the 9% growth and 0.4% decline, respectively, outpaced the worldwide hotel average decline in room nights of 0.9% for all of 2002. Because of strong room night growth, the Luxury segment posted an increase on a revenue basis, with revenues up 7.1% over last year.

TravelCLICK Expands Data Solutions Portfolio
New Products Acquired From HotelRevMAX
In the wake of success for the thousands of hotels that utilize competitive intelligence, TravelCLICK has upgraded its portfolio of innovative tools with the acquisition of new products from HotelRevMAX.
The products added to TravelCLICK's data portfolio are:
HotelPace - Representing the industry's first forward-looking reservations data service, HotelPace allows a local hotel to understand its advance booking pace versus that of the market and its pre-defined competitive set. Hoteliers can monitor their reservations compared to their overall marketplace and to their most immediate competitors, enabling them to make better decisions about pricing, room inventory allocations and channel management. TravelCLICK will be investing in the development of this product in coordination with many of the company's hotel partners
and clients.
HotelFlash - This product provides daily occupancy, rate, and RevPAR benchmarking data segmented by transient, group and contract room nights. The level of detail and
timeliness of HotelFlash is unmatched by any other source. TravelCLICK will be exploring ways to automate the daily data feed that will further improve HotelFlash as the industry leader of timeliness for daily occupancy and rate data.
To find out more about HotelPace or HotelFlash, consult www.travelclick.net or see your TravelCLICK local expert.
"By integrating these new data products
with TravelCLICK's competitive benchmarking reports, we'll be able to provide hoteliers with the most comprehensive and useful tools
